01

What is an introducer partnership for accountants and advisers?

An introducer partnership for accountants, solicitors and business advisers is an agreed way to refer clients who need business finance to Welcome Finance. You make the introduction with your client's permission, and we handle the search for suitable lenders and the application.

Welcome Finance is a trading name of Welcome Business Solutions Ltd. We are a commercial finance broker, not a lender, and we are not authorised or regulated by the FCA. We arrange unregulated business finance only.

02

Which client needs can we help with?

We help UK limited companies, LLPs and partnerships of four or more partners with business finance. Advisers often spot the need first, for example when reviewing accounts or a cash flow forecast.

We do not arrange property finance or anything secured on a home, and we do not pay introducers for consumer or regulated business.

03

What do you need before introducing a client?

You need your client's permission before you pass their details to us. A short note of who to contact, what the finance is for, roughly how much and by when is enough to start.

Welcome Business Solutions Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZC217118. We only share client details with lenders with the client's agreement, for the purpose of arranging finance, as set out in our privacy policy.

04

How are introducer arrangements set up?

Every introducer arrangement is agreed in writing. Any payment to an introducer is disclosed to the client.

Your own professional body may have rules on referrals and referral payments, so check those before you agree an arrangement with us. We do not publish payment amounts on this page.

05

What happens to your client relationship?

Your client relationship stays yours. We deal with your client on the finance only, and we keep you updated only with their consent.

Your client gets a dedicated relationship manager from the first enquiry until the lender pays out the funds, reachable by phone, email, chat or WhatsApp. We aim to reply within 4 business working hours, meaning Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

Accountants often hold the filed and management accounts lenders ask for, so with your client's agreement you can help speed things up. Our document checklist shows what lenders usually request.

06

How do we treat the clients you introduce?

We charge your client no fee. We are paid a commission by the lender when the finance completes, and we tell the client about it before they commit.

Our eligibility check takes about 60 seconds and does not affect the credit score. Each lender makes its own decision, so we never present approval as certain. Full detail is on how we are paid.

More questions

Will you contact my client directly?

Yes, once you have introduced them with their permission. We then deal with your client about the finance and keep you updated only if they consent.

Can solicitors and business advisers become introducers too?

Yes. Introducer arrangements are open to accountants, solicitors and business advisers, on the same principles of client consent and disclosure.

What if a lender declines my client?

Each lender makes its own decision. With your client's consent, we can explain the outcome to you and talk through whether another lender on our panel is realistic.

Can I refer a client who needs personal borrowing?

No. We only arrange unregulated business finance for companies, LLPs and partnerships of four or more partners.
