About Welcome Finance

A UK commercial finance broker helping established UK limited companies, LLPs and larger partnerships find the right business finance.

  • No fee to your company
  • One dedicated relationship manager
  • 60-second eligibility check
  • Helping companies across the UK

Welcome Finance is a trading name of Welcome Business Solutions Ltd (company number 17214545), a commercial finance broker working with companies across the UK by phone, email and video.

What we do

We help directors and partners of established UK businesses find suitable business finance and see it through to completion. Before we approach anyone, we check what lenders will ask about first (trading history, filed accounts, bank statements, existing borrowing and credit history) so we only put your application in front of lenders likely to consider it. We explain the options in plain English and manage the application with the lender through to drawdown.

How we work

  • We are a commercial finance broker, not a lender. Lending decisions are made by the lender.
  • We only arrange unregulated business finance for UK limited companies, LLPs and partnerships of four or more partners.
  • Welcome Business Solutions Ltd is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
  • We work with a range of lenders, not the whole market.
  • We only approach lenders likely to consider your application, so you avoid unnecessary credit searches.
  • We explain security, personal guarantees and the total cost before you apply.
  • We do not charge you a fee: the lender pays us a commission when your finance completes.

Our team

Our lender panel

The main types of business lender

Business lenders fall into a few broad groups, and each suits different kinds of deal. Our panel is small and growing: the lenders we currently work with are shown on our lenders page. We do not cover every lender in the market.

  • High street banks

Often the lowest cost for established, profitable businesses with strong accounts and security, but usually slower, with stricter criteria.

  • Challenger banks

Newer banks, often with quicker decisions and an appetite for established SMEs and particular sectors.

  • Specialist lenders

Focused on one product (invoice finance, asset finance, trade finance or merchant cash advance) and often more flexible on criteria within it.

  • Alternative & private lenders

Can move quickly on complex, time-critical or non-standard deals, usually at a higher cost.

01

What is a commercial finance broker, and what does Welcome Finance do?

A commercial finance broker helps a business find suitable finance and manages the application with the lender, but does not lend money itself. Welcome Finance is a commercial finance broker: we introduce companies to suitable lenders on our panel, and each lender makes its own lending decision.

We arrange unregulated business finance only, including business loans, asset finance and cash flow finance. We work with UK limited companies, LLPs and partnerships of four or more partners. We do not arrange property finance or anything secured on a home.

Each lender sets its own minimum trading period, from a few months to two or three years, and its own turnover requirements. Part of our job is to tell you early which lenders are realistic for your company.

02

Who is behind Welcome Finance?

Welcome Finance is a trading name of Welcome Business Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17214545. Anyone can check the company's details free on the Companies House register.

Our registered office is 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF. We work with companies across the UK remotely, by phone, email, chat and WhatsApp, and we do not have local branch offices.

03

Is Welcome Finance authorised or regulated by the FCA?

No. Welcome Business Solutions Ltd is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and we only arrange unregulated business finance.

Lending to limited companies, LLPs and partnerships of four or more partners is generally not covered by the Consumer Credit Act, so many of the protections that apply to personal borrowing usually do not apply. Read every agreement carefully and take independent advice if anything is unclear. Our guide to regulated vs unregulated business finance explains what this means for your company.

Although we are not regulated, we aim to give information that is fair, clear and not misleading, and to be open about how we are paid.

04

Which lenders do we work with?

We currently work with a small, growing panel of lenders as partners: Cashera, Nucleus, Triffin and FlexyKap. We do not cover the whole market.

Each lender sets its own criteria, pricing and decisions. Being on our panel does not mean a lender will approve your application. You can read more about how we work with them on our lenders page.

05

What makes our service different?

Every client has a dedicated relationship manager: a real person who looks after your application from the first enquiry until the lender pays out the funds. You deal with the same person throughout, so you do not have to explain your business twice.

You can contact your relationship manager by phone, email, chat or WhatsApp for updates or the status of your application. We aim to reply within 4 business working hours, meaning Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

06

How are we paid?

We do not charge you a fee. We are paid a commission by the lender when your finance completes.

You can ask us how much we will receive. Commission can differ between lenders. The full detail is on how we are paid.

07

How do we look after your information?

Welcome Business Solutions Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZC217118. We only share your details with lenders with your agreement, for the purpose of arranging finance.

Our privacy policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it and how we protect it.

More questions

Will checking my eligibility affect my credit score?

No. Our eligibility check takes about 60 seconds and does not affect your credit score. Lenders run their own credit checks later, after you decide to apply.

Am I under any obligation if I speak to you?

No. You decide whether to apply to a lender and whether to accept any offer. You can stop at any point before you sign a finance agreement.

Can you tell me whether a lender will approve my company?

No. We can tell you which lenders on our panel are likely to consider your application, but every lender makes its own decision and approval is never certain.

What happens if something goes wrong?

Contact your relationship manager or our team and tell us what happened. We will look into it.

How do I get started?

The quickest way is to check your eligibility online. Your relationship manager will then contact you to talk through what your company needs.
